fashion. Each lift is installed to the highest standard and

complies with the current EC regulations including the

Lift Directive 95/16/EC EN81 - 1 or 2 and Building Regulations

Legislation

 

All passenger and goods lifts installed and commissioned after

the 1st July 1999 will be required to comply with Statutory

Instrument 1997 , No.831, "Lift Regulations 1997" EC Regulations

impose a legal requirement that once the lift is installed,

and the associated Builders work completed,the total installation

must be tested to ensure that it meets the essential safety

requirement. The lift will then be issued with a Declaration of

Conformity Document and fixed with a CE mark of compliance.

Quantum Services are registered with BSi for compliance

with these regulations.
